It has been two years since we have had the Royal Melbourne Show running in Victoria because of Covid, so it was excellent to have it back in town. I have been attending the show since I was 5 years old when my father used to take us, from then to now I have gone every year and only missed about 15 years in 67. I have to say though that this year would have to be one of, if not the busiest years I have ever seen. We went on the second day and I haven't heard yet what the numbers were but we had to line up for everything we wanted to do and see. It didn't take away from our enjoyment though and we had a fantastic family day with our daughter and our two grandsons. I didn't think the prices for entry and rides were too outrageous but some of the show bags were quite expensive, we had lunch in the food pavilion and thought this was also good value and such a variety of choices to be made. We all chose something different and every plate of food was tasty and good quality.
