Special Occasions - Catch Up With Andrew and Jill - 2 February 2022

We hadn't had a chance to catch up with Andrew and Jill for a few years now, Robb and Andrew used to go camping regularly but because we had been away for such a long time last year Robb had missed their normal camping trips. Robb speaks to Andrew at their weekly Zoom meetings but it's not the same as a face to face catch up. Anyway when we had a call from Andrew to say they would like to come down one night this week we were really pleased to set one night aside for them. We all agreed on a night that suits and looked forward to the occasion. We had a coffee morning in Tarwin on the day they were coming so we organised for them to call us when they arrived and we would drive home. We organised lunch that day and dinner at home at night, we had lots to catch up on and it ended up a late night with maybe one too many wines. The next day we grabbed a coffee at our local coffee shop and them took them on a tour of Tarwin Lower and Venus Bay. We returned home and they had lunch with us before driving on home. It was a lovely 24 hours and we will look forward to the next visit.
