New Years Eve - 2022

I can remember a time when I would have felt cheated not to have a party to go to on New Years Eve but now my idea of a good time is to have a nice dinner and then be in bed by 10.00pm. We went shopping through the week and purchased a couple of rock lobsters, some lobster tails and a heap of tiger prawns. For our dinner I made up a salad and we had a couple of good dipping sauces for the seafood. We had a lovely Seppelt Prosecco that we had purchased on our travels that I had chilled earlier in the day, of course we had far too much to eat but we made a fairly substantial dent in it. We will stay up to watch the fireworks in Inverloch tonight, luckily we can see them from our back deck, and then I will go to bed.
