This is our third visit here, it is always a good day out and we have decided to make it an annual event. Robb and I travelled here by ourselves and we were meeting up with our son, daughter-in-law, their three children and they were picking up our daughter's two boys on the way. We arrived just on 9.30am and we called the others and they were still half an hour away so we said we would wait for them in the car. When they turned up it was so busy they were still going to be a little while finding a park so we went inside and found our cabana and set up our things. It wasn't that long until they turned up and after all the greetings Connor the 15 year old dropped his things and took off for the water slides. Our youngest grandchild is three years old and too small for the water slides so I took him to the pool and the others went over to the slides. They weren't very happy as it turned out because we had purchased 'Fast Passes' for everyone but it didn't save them any time at all. I had a good time in the pool with Elijah until they came to find me to say they were going for lunch. We all walked over to the cafe, picking Connor up on the way, and found two tables together so everyone sat down and two of us went in to purchase our food. The food is reasonably priced but not fantastic quality, mainly because it is kept in warmers because of the high volume of food they go through and it suffers a bit from this. After lunch we walked over to the rides until our lunch was digested, Elijah wanted to go on the train so I took him over for the ride and the others went for a go on the Dodg'Ems. Elijah and I were finished and the others were still waiting for a turn, Elijah was just big enough to go on the Dodg'Ems so I waited and took photos from the outside. After this we walked back to the cabana where Elijah was going to have a bit of a rest so Robb and I took Ollie, Annabelle and Eden back to the pool for a play and we were there for a couple of hours until we thought we would return to see if Elijah was awake and he was so we all walked over to the wave pool. We didn't have to wait long for the waves to start up and we all stayed their for the whole session before returning to the cabana. Everyone eventually turned up at the cabana and Connor and Ollie wanted to go on the Lazy River ride so Robb and I thought we would join them, we did two circuits and then Matthew found us to say they were going home, we thought we would go too to miss the worst of the traffic leaving the park. As it was it was pretty easy getting onto the freeway and we were soon on our way. The boys both fell asleep soon after leaving and slept all the way to Korumburra where we were alerted to the fact we had a flat tyre. We called the RACV and waited for an hour for them to arrive and change the tyre for us and then we were back on the road. We were late getting home so thankfully I had prepared dinner the previous day and all I had to do was put it in the oven. We were all fairly hungry and tired so it was an early night all around.
