We arrived home from our last trip after nine months away and six weeks until Christmas 2021. Christmas is important to us and we look forward to the preparation but before that we had to get our property ready for the day. While we were away we had gardeners and a cleaner come in and we were very happy with their work but together with all the Christmas events we wanted to attend we found the run up to Christmas to be very full on but enjoyable. After Christmas we had grandparent duties and then the Christmas pack up duties. We have both been busy around home taking care of small maintenance issues and gardening. Last night Robb suggested we take a day to ourselves and drive somewhere for lunch, we both decided on Rhyll on Phillip Island, we hadn't been there for a few years now so thought it was time we visited again. It was a beautiful Victorian summer day and we took off in the late morning before it was too hot. We had a quick look around Rhyll and then chose the Foreshore restaurant for lunch. Once again we had a shared meal here which we both enjoyed, we found both the food and service excellent and would recommend a visit here. We drove home from Rhyll stopping in Wonthaggi and Tarwin Lower for small errands on the way.
