We usually catch up with our friends Wendy and Carl every two weeks throughout the year, mostly for coffee but we sometimes throw in a lunch here and there but always catch up for lunch at Christmas time. I worked with Wendy how-ever many years ago and I value keeping our friendship going and we always enjoy our catch ups. Lunch today was at Burra Brewing Co., Robb and I haven't been here before but had always planned to and Wendy and Carl had been here a few times and always enjoyed it so when we were looking for somewhere Wendy made the suggestion so I made the booking a few weeks ago so we wouldn't miss out. We met at 12.00 noon as arranged and found our table, their menu consists of pizzas only but they do have a good variety and we all chose something different. Robb and I had ordered one of their own beers when we arrived, Robb ordered a Pale Ale and I ordered a Lager, like we normally do, we both enjoyed the beer, Wendy and Carl arrived just after us so Wendy tried the Lager because she didn't really like the Pale Ale last time she was here and Carl doesn't drink so he ordered an orange juice. We all enjoyed our pizzas and our time together (which always goes too fast), we all wished each other Merry Christmas before leaving for home.
