Christmas Day - 2021

Well, the main reason we returned from our extended nomading this year was to catch up with family and friends and to spend Christmas with them. So from the time we returned in mid November we have been preparing for lunch at our place. Both Robb and I love cooking and we always plan much more than we should for the day so that we spend weeks shopping, prepping and setting up for this one meal and today was no exception. By the time we were up out of bed and dressed on the day everything was organised and timed down to the last detail so it is fair to say that everything went off without a hitch. Our daughter and her two sons came to stay last night and one of our sons and his family were coming for lunch, what we didn't expect was our older son and his family to turn up and surprise us before they went onto their family lunch. I was very pleased to have the whole family together for the couple of hours and took advantage of the situation to take a few family photos.
