We originally planned to have our Christmas dinner at Avonsleigh in Tarwin Lower where we had it last year and we did have it booked but unfortunately Jayne the owner and cook had a fall through the week and was unable to go ahead with the booking. After a lot of messages, call backs and conversations we eventually booked a table at Tomo's Japanese in Inverloch. Some of our members had not previously eaten Japanese food but thankfully the night went well and was quite successful with even the few that turned up their noses at raw fish had a try and enjoyed it. We did the usual exchange of gifts from the basket, as you would expect they were books that we had all enjoyed and wanted to pass on, I think everyone was very happy with their selection. All up it was a very good night.
