We have recently connected with friends we have not seen for 30 years through a mutual friend on Facebook so when Kathy saw we were on holiday in Myrtleford and she lives in Wangaratta we organised to catch up for coffee. We arranged a meeting at Intermezzo in Wangaratta at 11.00 am on the Saturday morning, we were happy enough to drive to Wangaratta as we needed to pick up a part for the van which we did before meeting for coffee so that we didn't have to hurry off. As an added surprise Kathy had organised for another friend Yvonne to come along so it ended up as a mini reunion. Robb had worked with both Kathy and Yvonne when they were all a part of the Coles stores conversion staff over 40 years ago so there was lots of catching up to do and as often happens the years just fell away as the morning wore on. We will have to do this next time we are in town.
Back to our caravan to do a few important things like clothes washing, sorting the car out and doing my nails and by the time we had lunch and did all our jobs it was time once again to move over to the evening meeting. Not such a late night for us tonight as we both wanted an early night so after the raffles we packed up and returned to have a coffee, watch a bit of TV then off to bed.
