This was the second of our Christmas break ups for 2019 and it was with my book club group. This is a very popular restaurant in the area and because we had nine people attending we booked ahead. The service is excellent here and the pricing is reasonable so we were all looking forward to the night. We started by ordering 4 large pizzas to share but decided later it would have been better to order five, we mixed up our selection and we were mostly happy with our choices. We were all still hungry though so half of our group decided to have sweets and the other four of us chose to share an antipasto plate, doing everything a little bit around the wrong way but it doesn't matter if it all works. We shared a couple of bottles of Prosecco and a few glasses of wine. We all take a Christmas wrapped book on the night as a gift and we swapped these after dinner and more than a few of us were happy with our gift.
