The Story of Mad Maggie - Episode Three

Things have definitely not improved and we are now at the stage that the minute Robb opens the front door and steps down to the car she swoops him, he has taken to wearing a wide brimmed hat which seems to have helped a bit. We have been working all week out in the yards so we have spent a lot of our time ducking and weaving. I had noticed that she seemed to prefer Robb to me so I felt a bit secure if we were both outside at the same time. Yesterday I was out in the vegie garden and noticed that I was left alone most of the time I think mainly because I had my head down and my bum up, she probably felt the target was a bit big for her. I also found a very long stick in Daniel's trailer so when I had to walk somewhere I carried the long stick over my head and shook that around a bit and if she had of run into the stick while it was moving and she was knocked for a sixer I wouldn't really have felt much sympathy, karma's a bitch. Today Robb was out mowing and I was back in the vegie garden with my props and keeping my head low, I was left alone but Robb was swooped time and again. By the time he came to mow the area above the vegie garden he had a plastic bag tied to his hat and cable ties sticking up. We no longer walk down to the garage and lower garden, we drive, and just to add insult to injury when she can't get to us she tries to shit on us. A slug gun is looking pretty good to me at the moment. Anyway I did get to finish tidying up the vegie garden and it looks pretty good at the moment with coriander, peas and beans all producing well and lots of shallots, garlic, tomatoes and potatoes doing well.
