September Long Weekend With Family at Nevin's Beach East Yarrawonga.

Our grandson Ollie had wanted to go away in our caravan from the moment he first saw it, the problem is it only sleeps the two of us so when we had the opportunity to go away for the long weekend in September and our son Matthew had a swag he could take for the two boys we thought it was a great opportunity as it was our week with the two of them through the school holidays anyway. So we set off early Thursday morning for our long drive to Yarrawonga and then to the camp site on the Murray River. The boys traveled well, we made sure their devices were charged

before we left, so six and a half hours later we arrived at Nevin's Beach. Matthew, Lyndal and children were already set up so we chose a spot to camp and then set up the van and outside area. It was a beautiful evening but we were all pretty tired from travelling so it wasn't a late night for us. We spent three enjoyable days and nights here, the weather was really good for early Spring with both our boys and most of the other children playing in the water for a lot of the time. There was a wide range of ages in the children from 2 to 14 and they all got on really well and a couple of good friendships were forged. It was a long drive for us but well worth the effort and I am sure the boys will have great memories of their time.
