We drove off this morning from Tailem Bend thinking we would be staying in Kaniva but when we arrived it was still very early so we decided to travel on a bit further and found ourselves in Nhill. We decided to stay here and then move on further tomorrow. This is a quick stopover and the lady who booked us in was very helpful and friendly. We were after a drive through site where we could stay hitched up for the night. Because we are on our way home and are not looking for sightseeing experiences we just wanted to make things easier for ourselves. We have a site that suits us and happy that we were placed so close to the amenities. We received a discount for being a senior which made this stay very reasonable. On the way from Tailem Bend to Nhill we had stopped off at Coonalpyn to take photos of the silos, we had seen them before but they are among my favourite paintings so we thought we would stop again. We are nearly home and have planned the last few legs of our trip, I don't ever like ending our holidays but eventually we need to just go home.
