We were on our way home but really wanted to take this train ride and we were able to organise our days to take a trip on the Explorer from Quorn to Woolshed Flat where we had lunch and then back to Quorn. It was a great experience and all the staff and volunteers were lovely, the prices we thought were good. It is beautiful country and I have some great photos of the area. There is also a great history to the building of the railway and some amazing brickwork along the track.
When we returned to Quorn we were back in the car driving towards Port Wakefield where we wanted to stay tonight but we weren't sure if we would make it or stop somewhere else on the way. We did manage to get here and set up for the night and then just relaxed before an early night.
