Kimba to Quorn

Today after our freezing start to the day we were up and dressed by 9.30am, just so I could get into the car to warm up. We drove down to the main street to pick up a coffee and while we were there we purchased 6 jars of local relishes and chutneys that looked really good and then we were on our way. We drove through some magnificent country on the Southern end of the Flinders Ranges, I could hardly contain my enthusiasm when driving through these hills and now can't wait for an opportunity to return to have a good slook around. We arrived in Quorn and what a beautiful town this is with so many historic buildings, we called into the Railway Station to check our booking for tomorrow and then drove around town having a bit of a look before following the signs to the caravan park. There is only one park in Quorn so we headed here and went to the office to book in. This is a lovely bush setting park and when we asked for a drive through site to leave our van hitched up for the night this wasn't a problem. We had someone guide us down to our site and direct us to drive in so that people could get around us. While we were booking in we had people come into the office who return here regularly and they love the park and the area, that's a good recommendation. We are camped close to the disabled toilets which we have been told to use and my husband said they are quite modern and clean. We are Kui Parks members but we thought the rates were reasonable anyway. Only a one night stay but very happy with it, tomorrow we need to be up to get to the railway station for our booking on the Pichi Richi Railway. We are both looking forward to this trip and when we return to Quorn we will be driving onto our next stop.
