We decided today was the day to have a good look around Victor Harbor, I had noticed there were lots of lovely old buildings in town and I wanted to have a good look at them. We started with coffee in our usual spot and then took off around the area I was interested in seeing. We just traveled around and parking occasionally to get out and walk the streets and took lots of photos of some of the more spectacular buildings. We eventually came to the railway district and parked and walked what was the old main street with some beautiful old buildings. We walked into the station to check out the Cockle Train that was at the station loading up and getting ready to take off. I was invited on board to have a look around and I took advantage of this invite and took lots of photos. We left here and drove to one of the beautiful churches in town that is an heritage listed building and I was lucky enough to find someone there who invited me into the gardens to take a better photo of the building. We then moved onto another old church that is now being developed for a housing estate in the grounds and the building is to be developed into a resort with a club and accommodation. We read the information but it didn't explain clearly if it was keeping the original building but we hope so as it is quite impressive. Back home to do some housework and then to plan our next few days and our trip up to Yorke Peninsula.
