We drove here from our last stop at Meningie where we had spent one night. We had seen all we needed to see in Meningie and after arriving in Victor Harbour where there is so much for us to see I am glad now we only spent the one night there. We searched the caravan parks and chose to stay at the Top Parks one as we are members and we receive a discount for our loyalty. This is a well set out park, staff are very friendly and the rates are good. We asked for a drive through site which wasn't an issue but we were also given a few options of sites. The park is well situated away from the busiest part of town but close enough to easily access. We set up and I prepared lunch for us and then we went in search of the closest Visitor Information Centre. We had a few problems finding the centre in Victor Harbour and we were going to drive to Goolwa but then we saw an Information sign so then we went in search, we still had a few issues but eventually found it and we were thankful we did. The staff were very helpful and where I was concerned about not finding enough information on the area I walked out with an armful. They also went to the effort of marking special spots on the maps and giving us advice on when to go and the best trails to take. Such a good experience and we now have some plan to make sure we see all we want to on the Fleurieu Peninsula. When we mentioned where we were heading off to after that
they also made sure we had information on those areas.
