We are still in Millicent, we arrived yesterday and our friend Annette caught up with us at the van and then we went out for dinner to the local hotel the Somerset for dinner. It was a very busy night at the hotel because there was a darts tournament in town and there were a lot of people from the tournament in for dinner. The staff worked very hard and efficiently to make sure wait times were kept to a minimum both for food, and drinks. The meals were good Robb had a steak which was cooked how he likes it and I had beef schnitzel mainly because you don't see it on menus often and I really like it and tonight was no exception, the salad bar has a good choice of fresh salads and our sauces and gravies were all tasty. Prices were reasonable for the meals we had and tables were cleared promptly. The dining room has been renovated since we were last here and is very pleasant. We would recommend eating here if in town. It was good to catch up with Annette and there was lots to talk about. Robb hurt his knee somehow yesterday and we really like the park here so decided to stay another night. Annette dropped a box of support bandages to us this morning on the way to work (nothing is open in Millicent for us to buy one) and she is calling back again this afternoon to see us. Annette is looking really good at the moment and we will miss her when we leave. We have chosen our next stop - Meningie - where I think we might stay for three nights. Because Dad has been resting all day I took advantage of a home day and cleaned through the van and did the washing. I think I might have to start hooking up the van for a few days until Dad can get down to do it again himself.
