Yarrawonga and Cruise on The Cumberoona

We were staying in Cobram and drove to Yarrawonga to take part in the market. We parked and walked the market and thought it was one of the better ones we had been to, there were lots of food products on show and a wide variety of offerings. As we were walking around we noticed the Cumberoona Paddle Steamer at dock and because we had missed out on going on the Cobba from Cobram we thought this might be fun. Talking to a couple before boarding they said they had purchased the last two sittings for today but in the meantime Robb was up talking to the owner. This was a lunch cruise and we understand they would cater for the number of people booking, however, we were invited to go on board if we were happy to settle for a bowl of chips for lunch. We were more than happy with this and appreciated that they would accommodate us. We climbed on board and found a table downstairs. It was a lovely cruise on Lake Mulwala but the best part was the commentary and the friendliness of the staff. When it came to lunch time they found that they had food left over so we ended up with a full meal. We can't thank them enough for their kind consideration on the day and at all times they were friendly and accommodating. On top of all this we enjoyed the cruise, highly recommended for everyone in the area.
