We seem to be getting up later each day, it is not as though we are not getting enough rest. Our normal start which is coffee and a read at McDonald's and then we drove around to the Saturday morning market at Federation Park on the main street. We easily found a parking spot probably because we were a bit later and there weren't many people there and unfortunately a lot of the stall holders were already packing up. We walked up each aisle as you do and had a peek at each stall but we didn't see much that we wanted except of a handy little hook Robb found to help with opening the awning. From here we drove to Kensal Estate Wines in Cobram because it had been recommended to us by Penny at the Barham Forest Heritage and Education Centre. Unfortunately when we arrived the sign said open but we had to phone Tom to come around and serve us, we thought Tom probably had much more important things to be doing and it seemed like a bit of a commitment to disturb him so we walked back to the car and drove to Barooga. We had planned to visit the Golf Club for lunch today and as we were a bit early we thought we would have a flutter on the pokies first, which we did and of course lost, quickly, we are not really pokie players so that ended it for us. Even though it was still a bit early for us for lunch we thought we would go and see what was on offer, they had a fairly extensive menu but nothing really appealed to us, probably because we have been eating so well this week, we decided to come back to the van and have our normal old everyday salad we have and that is what we did. So basically nothing much to report today but it is always good to have a rest day and I did promise Robb before we left not to be rushing around all day every day. We will probably go for a swim before dinner tonight, we have had sunshine all day but the temperature has dropped a bit and it should be quite pleasant in the heated pool.
