Easter Eggs and Merimbula Wharf

Today was the day Matt, Lyndal and the children were going home so we stayed around camp until they had left, before they left we gave them their Easter Eggs as we wouldn't see them Easter Sunday and I didn't want them to miss out. We then we drove to Tura Beach to return the wood trays we had borrowed from the nursery where we had been buying wood and then we drove into Merimbula to pick up shoes Robb had ordered before driving around to Merimbula Wharf. We spent about half an hour on the wharf enjoying the views and then we drove back to camp for lunch. After lunch we sat outside reading, we thought we would enjoy the quiet now that everyone had gone but we found we were both a bit sad that the others had left so made up our mind to pack up the next day and go home a day early. We spent some of the afternoon packing up what we could on the van so that we could get away early in the morning, we had decided to have take away for dinner and fancied Asian. There were three Asian restaurants in Merimbula a Thai, Malaysian and Chinese, Robb is not fussed about Thai so we were going to see which one out of the other two where the easiest to access. Chinese won out so we headed off around 6.00pm and found the shop and went in to order, of course we ordered too much but it was all really good and we packed up the left overs to take home in case we were late arriving home the next night. We had enough wood for one more fire so we lit that and sat and ate beside the fire. We read for awhile after dinner and then sat and stared at the flames until I fell asleep, we thought it was then time to go to bed.
