Oakland Brewery and Centre

We stopped off here on the way back from Eden. Unfortunately we called in later in the afternoon and they were closing the brewery for a private function at 4.00pm so we didn't have long to look around. We walked over to the brewery so that we could try their beers and we chose two different blends and sat outside to enjoy them, they were both good but because everybody was busy setting up we didn't feel comfortable sitting there for long. We noticed on the way out that they have a cheese platter which we both
enjoy so we made a few inquiries about it thinking we might call back for lunch one day and then walked back to the car stopping at the art gallery and nursery to have a quick look around on the way out. It is a great complex and we believe there is a children's farm there so we thought it would be a good place to come back with family. The brewery had a good menu on offer and the prices seemed reasonable, we would return here for a meal next time.
