Our little town always puts on a good ANZAC Day Parade that is always attended by a lot of the local population from here and Venus Bay and visitors who take advantage of the public holiday to come and spend a few days in this very special park of Victoria. Attendance grows every year and I don't think this year was any different. Thanks to South Gippsland Shire Council, Tarwin Lower and District CFA, Wonthaggi Brass Band, Tarwin Lower Primary School, Our local Police and all the local businesses and organisations who participate with support or their beautiful wreaths, this event has become an important part of our annual calendar. To top it all off our granddaughter and her friend both school captains this year, read The Requiem together and did a sterling job.
