Fishing off Tathra Wharf

Robb wanted to go down to the Tathra wharf to fish because it is deep water there and he thought he might have more luck, John and Karen were also interested in going down there so we thought we would see them there later on. Robb and I went ahead and called into the bakery to pick up a couple of coffees and then into the store in Tathra to pick up bait. We had packed our chairs so we took those down and set up on the wharf, I had my book to read so I was happy just to sit there and enjoy my coffee while reading. Robb set up his rods and threw them in and then got his book out. We were there for about an hour when everyone else turned up, Robb caught one fish but it was too small so he threw it back in, he tried a few more times but didn't have any luck and he finished the last of his bait so we packed up to go home. The others were going down to the beach for lunch and for the girls to have a swim but we decided to go back to camp, I wanted a salad for lunch and we wanted a rest. I also had washing to do and decided to do it by hand, so I made a salad for myself and Robb shucked the remainder of his oysters to have. After lunch I did the washing which was quite difficult as we had jeans to wash and they are not easy to do but I eventually had it washed and hanging on the line. Lyndal called and asked if I wanted to go and do the girl’s birthday shopping in Bega and I thought it was a good idea because Annabelle had celebrated her birthday and Edie's was coming up and I didn't want to leave it much longer. Because they were still on their way home I went for a shower and by the time they returned I was finished. Lyndal, myself, Annabelle and Eden all hopped into the car and we drove to Target in Bega where we spent a lovely couple of hours trying on and buying heaps of dresses, shoes and tops for the girls, they also bought nail polish and lip gloss, it was a great time. Then we returned to camp and poured our first drink.
