Bournda Lagoon and Fishing at Wallagoot Lake

We were always searching for good places for the children to have a swim and Karen and John had found Bournda Lagoon and suggested we take the children there so we did. It looked to be at the end of Wallagoot Lake and was a nice calm beach area that had a gradual slope into the water and then dropped away quickly. Matthew took the girls into the water and they had lots of fun in the area they were able to play in. Robb and I left before the others to go back to camp. Later in the evening Robb and Matthew decided to go fishing down on the lake so we all followed them down, it was a beautiful evening and we stayed there for awhile enjoying the sunset. This is such a scenic area.
