Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory

We had visited here around the same time last year and it hadn't changed much except that there seemed to be more going on in the whisky department. Last time we bought quite a few blocks of chocolate which we enjoyed but it is rather expensive so this time we just bought one sample each. We were pleased this time to see that the area where the whisky sales are was open and doing business because we both like a drop of whisky. My husband was going to do a tasting but then when we saw the price of the whisky he didn't really think it was any purpose. We love to support local businesses but I think they have to do their part too with pricing and supply. There is a lovely big cafe here with lots of seating which would accommodate large groups and they have a simple menu and the prices look ok. If you are passing through Corowa I would recommend you take the time to go through, your stop can be as long as you like and just a personal note the chocolate covered raspberries are beautiful. If you have young children they will take them through to the chocolate making shop to make their own freckles, this is a nice little touch and the children love it. I should also mention that the chocolate itself is very nice and smooth.
