Boorhaman Pub/Buffalo Brewery and Chiltern

We like to visit brewery's so when we saw this one mentioned in the information we had picked up we thought we would take a drive to try the beer. The Buffalo Brewery is part of the Boorhaman Pub which is a very neat and clean little country pub with a very friendly owner/bartender and his wife. Robb tried a Pale Ale and I had the Lager, we both enjoyed our drinks but more than anything we enjoyed our time with the owners. You can order meals here and they have a good sized eating area, prices look good and there is a pool room. Apparently they have lots of large groups come through and stop here and they also hold special nights. A lovely stop.

Chiltern is a small country town in Victoria that dates back to gold mining times. Both sides of the main street have a row of original old shops. There are plaques on some of the buildings that are interesting to read. The inside of the buildings have mainly been kept as original also, there are a couple of nice secondhand shops which have some very interesting items for sale. Make sure you visit Stephens Motors.
