We had called into the Visitor Information Centre and ccollected information on the area and as it was lunch time we asked for suggestions for somewhere to go where we might be able to get a cheese platter for lunch. Lake Moodemere was recommended to us because they have views over the river and they should be able to oblige with a cheese platter. It was a beautiful day and that always helps we followed the directions and found the winery easily. It was indeed a beautiful setting and we explained what we wanted and the owner obliged by putting something together for us. We were led outside to the tables overlooking the river, we ordered our drinks and were happy with our selections we sat and sipped while waiting for our food to arrive. There was a lovely selection of cheeses and fruits on the platter so we sat here overlooking the river with chickens pecking all around, the service was friendly and helpful and the prices were excellent. We couldn't have chosen much better than this.
