We had put our van in for minor repairs with a very accommodating caravan repair service in Shepparton and then after picking up a coffee we drove to the Visitor Information Centre. We had visited here before while staying in Shepp and we knew they had lots of information we may not be able to pick up at other centres. The staff here are so accommodating and never leave you just wandering if you look like you need a bit of help. They are so friendly and our inquires were a little bit difficult in that we were looking for information on the Barmah State forest and caravan parks or free camping in the area. They didn't have many brochures on this area but they gave us everything they had and spent lots of time looking for anything that might be helpful to us. We spent a while here chatting about one thing or another and left with enough information to set us on our way. From here we drove to the SPC Outlet where we always visit when in Shepparton. I am not sure if we are helping the factory much but I like to think by purchasing products here it helps them continue with their business for a bit longer. We always come home with these very strange items that we wonder why we purchased but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
