We had picked up our new (secondhand) van and wanted to travel for two weeks just to iron out any repairs that needed to be carried out so we headed off on a small two week trip. The only stop we knew we were making was Nagambie, friends had recommended a park here to us so we thought we would take a look. We pulled in here not knowing if we would get a site or not but the staff were very helpful and because they weren't overcrowded they gave us a spot looking over the lake which we appreciated. We also loved that we could drive through to our site, always a blessing. The park was very clean with neat lawns and garden areas, there was a mixture of cabins, powered sites, ensuite sites and unpowered sites so something for everyone. We are G'day members so we had a substantial discount on the cost. The amenities were clean and looked quite updated, they obviously have an issue with white galahs which are very noisy but this didn't worry us as we live in a small country town and are used to having flocks of different noisy birds visiting us. A very good stay and we would highly recommend this stopover. This was where we discovered our very first issue with the van which was a pipe from the sink that needed replacing.
