We booked this tour ahead of travelling and we were staying outside of Porto so it involved hopping onto a bus to get to Porto and then find the tourist bus for our tour. We decided to do the river cruise first and stopped on the pier for lunch. After the river cruise we went in search of the bus which was relatively easy to find and we took the whole route around Porto. We loved this city and were particularly impressed with the Moorish influence in the tiles on the outside of the buildings. As in most of these ancient European cities the architecture was impressive and the layout of the city was a maze of streets which seemed to us very hard to navigate but to the local people quite manageable. Porto was particularly impressive with it's dramatic highs and lows. We didn't do the wine tasting that was part of this tour because we are not great fans of Port but those that did enjoyed the experience.
