Castelo de Terena - Portugal

Driving home from Monsaraz we came across this small village and could see the castle in the distance so we went in search of it. We drove around lots of small streets before we eventually came to the entrance. There isn't much left of the castle just the outside walls which unfortunately is the story of lots of these castles around Europe. It is a very pretty town so we had a look around the cemetery and then the castle before moving on home to Evora.
