Our stay on the coast at Platje d'Aro outside Barcelona came to an end far to quickly and it was now time to move onto our stay outside of Madrid. We had booked accommodation in the small village of Chinchon so we put this into the GPS and followed the directions. We seemed to be driving in the middle of nowhere and we were wondering if the GPS was correct as there seemed to be nothing around us for miles and miles and then all of a sudden we were just in Chinchon it was the strangest feeling. On the drive we had seen several buses dropping people at stops with nothing around them, certainly there weren't any buildings we could see but people would alight from the bus and then walk off to nowhere, there must have been houses over the ridges that we couldn't see but it was all very puzzling. Our first view of Chinchon was very pleasing and it was quite easy once there to find our acccommodation.
