We hopped on the Telerific de Montjuic for the ride up to the castle. This was one of the stops on the Hop on Hop off bus route which made it really easy to access. The views on the way up were quite spectacular and we were impressed with our first sight of the castle. We wandered around looking at the brilliant views before walking further into the castle admiring the very landscaped gardens surrounding the castle. We walked around the inside and outside perimeter and through the corridors entering the rooms that were open to the public that day. We enjoyed the museum and the information available about the history of the castle and overall we thought this was an excellent stop off and a worthy attraction. We would certainly recommend this to visitors to Barcelona.
