Le Parc Ornithologique Pont de Gau - Saintes Maries de la Mer - France

The previous day we had visited La Carmargue where I hoped to have seen a flamingo but alas it didn't happen so I dragged another two of our party back to Le Parc Ornithologique the next day hoping that we may see at least one flamingo. Not only did we see one but 100's of these beautiful birds, we also saw heron, ducks and a mixture of other bird life

. We walked the circuit of the park because there was something to see at each turn. We also came across a very brave rat out on the bank drying off. A memorable day and I am still amazed when I go through my photos.
