La Carmargue

We booked a boat tour of this area and I had high hopes of viewing lots of native wildlife but was a bit disappointed. We saw a few water birds and some water buffalo and there was a display put on for us of carmargue horses and bulls herded down for our viewing along the waterfront, however we saw just as much driving into town without taking this tour. I wouldn't recommend spending the money to go out on a boat, it is a fantastic natural environmental area that can be enjoyed as much from land as on the water.
