Arles's Cryptoporticus

We believe this Cryptoporticus is the entry to the Forum in Arles which is nearly as spectacular as the Roman Colosseum. I suffer a bit from claustrophobia so generally choose carefully when going underground through tunnels but at no time did I feel uncomfortable under the streets of Arles. It is a spectacular well preserved example of ancient Roman architecture that is easy to navigate with lots of relics on view. We had a small torch with us to see into areas that may have been a bit difficult so I think I would recommend taking one with you so that you can maximise your visit. A very interesting tourist attraction that highlights the ancient Roman activity in this small town in the south of France.
