We had booked a combined tour including a dinner cruise on the River Seine, a visit to the Eiffel Tower and then a show at Moulin Rouge. This was a really big event for us because we also spent the day at the Louvre and visiting Paris on the Hop on Hop off bus. Paris just seems to be one of these cities that invigorates you and we wanted to see as much as we could. So we set off early evening for our dinner cruise down the Seine. We met the bus at the tour centre office and we were driven down to the boat. There was a bit of a mix up with our table but the staff soon sorted this out and we had a bit of a laugh with the other people involved in the mix up which continued on as a joke for the remainder of the night. The food was good, the wine free flowing and the service was very accommodating. This dinner cruise was a welcome reprieve after rushing around all day so we sat back and enjoyed ourselves floating down the river. We then moved onto our tour of the Eiffel Tower which I will talk about next time.
