Paris Hop On Hop Off Bus

We had booked the Hop on Hop off bus for two days in Paris because we didn't have a lot of time there and wanted to maximise what we saw. We visited the Arc de Triomphe while travelling down the Champs Elysees, we didn't hop off here but we will save that for next time. The sight of this arch while driving down the Champs Elysees is very impressive and the beauty of the structure cannot be denied. Our friends did the climb and loved it but they had to wait a while in line so it might be best to buy skip the line tickets. We drove over the Seine a few times and every view we had of this beautiful river was fantastic. We drove past the Trocadero and earmarked this spot to go back to later because there is a magnificent view over the Eiffel Tower and Paris from this great vantage point. Paris is as vibrant and romantic as everything we have heard about it and we found it a very friendly city and easy to be absorbed in the current culture.
