We were away with friends and it was a birthday night for one of them so we followed the Italian tradition of La Passeggiata knowing we would find somewhere to eat in our travels. It was our friends choice and there were so many restaurants to choose from and he chose La Cucina del Maestro, so we waited to be seated and had a great table right on the road so that we could watch everyone walking past. We all had traditional Italian meals and all the food was excellent, we loved the service, it was prompt and friendly and the prices were good. What I really loved though was beside us was a table with two Italian gentlemen dressed in trousers and smart shirts who both ordered pasta and stuck their serviettes into their shirt collars and got stuck into the pasta like there was no tomorrow. That's what eating is about.
