First of all I have to say I don't feel old enough to have a 40 year old child but I gather that is something we all have to face eventually. Anyway he was having his party at his other home which was 2 hours away so we thought we would take our caravan so that we would not have to drive home that night. Because Daniel's home is on acreage we had plenty of room to set up the van and once this was done we walked over to watch our two granddaughters practicing for horse riding events they have on next weekend. After that we returned to the house to watch Jenna decorating her Dad's birthday cake, she did a great job and it was quite a hit that night. The weather was perfect and we all had a really good night catching up with family and friends we hadn't seen for a while and then late at night before leaving for bed a few of us that were still up sat down to enjoy a taste of the Johnnie Walker Blue that his brother and sister-in-law gave him for his birthday, absolutely perfect.
