We visited Siena mainly to see the shell shaped piazza I had heard so much about and while I was expecting good things I was still surprised at the size. It is a very attractive piazza with lots of interesting buildings, shops and eateries around the outside of the piazza. The day we were there we were entertained by a couple of groups of cheer leaders working out, so we sat at one of the cafes and enjoyed a beautiful lunch and watched the entertainment.
