Three of our group set off for the island of Capri on an organised tour. The tour included a visit to the blue grotto weather permitting, Anacapri and then Capri. The weather didn't allow us to visit the blue grotto but we did travel close by which was enough to see the changing colour of the water. Then we proceeded to Capri. We hopped on a bus and we were driven onto Anacapri which is the highest town on the island with magnificent views down to the ocean. We spent a bit of time here and then met up with the bus to be driven down to Capri. We walked the shops in Capri trying all the sample goods on offer and then we walked back to the restaurant that was recommended to us for lunch. After lunch we still had time to fill in so we wandered around a bit more, I walked to the cemetery to have a bit of a look and then back to town. It started to rain so we found a bar to sit in, nothing wrong with a good beer when waiting for a storm to pass, however, this storm wasn't going to pass and gradually got heavier so that when the time came for us to walk back to the ferry we were absolutely soaked which is no ones fault but there was a bit of a mess with the arrangements for the ferry with one tour guide contradicting the other and then getting quite angry with the tourists when they didn't know which way to go which just made everything more difficult for us. All in all we loved this tour and hopefully this was just a small glitch for the tour company.
