We left Rome in the morning and caught a train to Naples where we were met at the train station but a very brisk Italian driver to drive us to our accommodation in Sorrento. On the way we stopped off at Pompeii for a look around and then we were picked up again and driven to Sorrento. When we walked into the hotel grounds we were met by the manager and it was suggested we sit and have a beer before going to our rooms. We thought this was a lovely suggestion but later realised it was a bit of a con because when you sit and order a large beer you are brought a boot which holds 3 bottles of beer and cost 80E for each drink, a quick way for them to make a bit of money from the guests. Reading Trip Advisor this is something they do all the time but we stored this experience away with 'something we will laugh at later on' and were very careful from then on to check the glass sizes.
