Christmas Day at Home - 2018

We always have Christmas lunch at home and whoever in the family can join us do and then we catch up with the others at another time. This year we managed to have nearly everyone for dinner Christmas night which was a special treat, we were just missing two people who had other family obligations this year and while we were disappointed they weren't with us we understood why. Of course even with supplying lunch and dinner we still have a heap of food left over but it saves cooking for a couple of nights. Boxing Day we were by ourselves from lunch time on so we treated ourselves to a seafood lunch of lobster, prawns and a mix of calamari and scallops lightly sauteed in garlic butter, I don't think we will need much for dinner tonight.
