Our granddaughter Jenna invited us to her end of year celebrations for the school she attends Tarwin Lower Primary School. We have been to each one of these nights since the girls commenced here and we were happy to attend. The school has been lucky enough to have an excellent music teacher so every year the formal parts of the night are interspersed with musical performances or short skits but unfortunately the music teacher is finishing up this year and I am not sure if they have someone lined up for next year. As always the musical performances were very good and it is fantastic to see all the children involved. We had speeches from the children graduating and on graduation they all present a book that they have loved to the school. One ceremony they have is to present a gift to the families who have just finished their final year at the school, this is a lovely way to show appreciation to the families some of whom have been attending for a long time. But the highlight for our night was when they announced the School Captains for next year and our Jenna is one of them, well done Jenna you will do a great job.
