This is a free event on the main street of Peterborough and well worth the visit. Because Peterborough is such a tourist town and you are encouraged to visit all the sites we took a map and then followed the directions around town and stopped at all the points of interest. Having said that this display is well worth the visit because there is heaps of information on the history of railway in the area and there are a couple of interactive displays. It was very pleasant to sit in the carriages and to watch the videos out the windows, so realistic that you could imagine you were travelling through the areas displayed. Peterborough has lots to see but don't miss this one.
