We found the reserve easily enough and parked our car up the top of the hill and walked through the gate. There were two paths to follow and no indication of which was the correct one to the lookout. We chose the one we thought was correct and walked off looking for the lookout which was supposed to be 180 meters from the gate and we walked about 300 meters without finding it. There weren't any signs along the way so we floundered around for awhile and then decided to walk back. We stopped by the road driving back to town to see the views over Peterborough that we were supposed to see from the lookout point. I have since seen photos of the lookout and I am sure we would have had a great view from there, maybe next time.
