Sulphide Street Railway Museum - Broken Hill

This exhibit had been recommended to us and because we usually take note of recommendations we put this on our list for a good inspection. We loved it from the moment we walked through the entry doors and the entry cost was reasonable so that impressed us too. There was lots of memorabilia which we know we had seen at lots of other museums but I did love the old suitcases and the medical displays were very impressive and had a lot of equipment we hadn't seen before. However, the reason we were there was to look through the train engines on display and we weren't disappointed because there were a few amazing engines in fantastic condition and we were able to walk through and have a good look, we don't understand anything mechanical but that didn't distract from our experience. Also w

e loved seeing the carriages which relate to a time passed but a time we could related to. All things considered this is an excellent exhibit and well worth visiting.
