We had visited the Silverton Pub a couple of years ago and we were looking forward to returning. The hotel is full of character inside and out, we had Tilly our dog
with us so we sat out the front for a beer. There is a large covered area to one side of the pub for eating and on the other side there is a partly covered area, we haven't had a problem finding a table to eat but it is surprising how busy the pub gets. We didn't eat this time but the menu has good variety and there should be something there for everyone and the quality of the food was very good. After walking around the streets in the heat and with the dust there is nothing better than sitting down with a cold beer and watching the world go by. It is particularly amusing to have the donkeys come and pay the pub a visit.
